3.6kW / 5kW Single-phase Off-grid Inverters

The FY-APS3600-24 / FY-APS5000-24 are 3.6kW / 5kW single-phase off-grid inverters for 24VDC battery systems. They integrate a solar charger of up to 160A MPPT and an AC charger of up to 160A, and support lithium/lead-acid batteries, dual AC output, Meter/CT connection, generator ATS control, and grid-feed, with optional WiFi/4G. They target residential off-grid, backup power, and small-scale PV energy storage applications.

1. Very Large PV Charging Capability - Up to 160A/9000W on the 5kW Model

The FY-APS5000-24 offers max PV input power of 9000W, max PV input current of 27A, and max PV charge current of 160A - very generous PV charging capability for a 5kW unit, able to accommodate a much larger PV array and improve daytime self-consumption and charging speed.

The FY-APS3600-24 offers 18A/5000W with 100A charging - also a strong configuration at the 3.6kW level.

At 24V, 160A charging corresponds to roughly 3.8kW of charging power - significantly stronger than typical models in the same class.

2. Wide PV Input Voltage Range (40–450V, Open-Circuit 500V)

The wide MPPT operating voltage range enables flexible PV string design, accommodating different series/parallel configurations, reducing line losses, and simplifying wiring.

The 500V open-circuit voltage leaves design margin for strings, which is safer when open-circuit voltage rises at low temperatures.

3. Dual PV + AC Charging, Up to 160A Combined

PV and AC can charge simultaneously, with a combined max of 160A (100A for the 3600 model). When sunlight is insufficient or a fast recharge is needed, backup power can be restored quickly, shortening outage recovery time.
