Technically, a solar inverter is the core device that converts the direct current (DC) generated by solar panels into alternating current (AC). Its internal electronic components, such as capacitors, inductors, and semiconductors, gradually age over time, affecting overall performance. In terms of application scenarios, the inverter's lifespan can be significantly shortened if it is exposed to harsh environments such as high temperature, high humidity, and salt spray. For example, in coastal areas, salt in the air can accelerate the corrosion of metal components. In high-temperature environments, the lifespan of components like capacitors is reduced due to the increased temperature. Products that meet these standards generally have a longer lifespan.
